Building a powerful team in Evomon starts with knowing which monsters are worth your resources. This tier list ranks every Evomon from S-Tier (the absolute best) down to D-Tier (situational at best), based on their base stats, skill sets, and performance in both PvE and PvP content. Use this guide to prioritize your captures and investments.

S-Tier: The Meta Defining Monsters

S-Tier monsters are the cream of the crop. They dominate in the PvP Arena, excel in Boss Raids, and can carry you through the entire Story Campaign. If you get one of these, invest in them immediately.

Ignis Rex (Fire)

An absolute powerhouse with the highest base Special Attack in the game. Its signature move, "Inferno Blast," deals massive AoE damage and leaves a burn effect. Essential for any top-tier team.

Aqua Seraph (Water)

The best support monster in the game. Aqua Seraph has incredible bulk and can heal the entire party while cleansing debuffs. Its "Tidal Barrier" ability provides a shield that absorbs 30% of max HP.

Terra Golem (Earth)

The king of physical defense. Terra Golem taunts enemies and reduces incoming damage by 50% with "Stone Wall." It is the cornerstone of any defensive strategy in PvP.

A-Tier: Excellent Choices

A-Tier monsters are slightly less dominant than S-Tier but are still incredibly powerful and can fit into almost any team composition. They are often easier to obtain and require less investment to reach their full potential.

  • Zephyr Drake (Wind): Fast and furious. It strikes first in almost every battle and can chain attacks with high critical hit rates.
  • Shadow Lynx (Dark): A single-target assassin. It excels at eliminating key threats on the enemy team before they can act.
  • Lumina Deer (Light): A versatile buffer that boosts the entire team's attack and speed. Great for both PvE and PvP.

B-Tier: Reliable and Versatile

B-Tier monsters are solid choices for the mid-game. They perform well in the Story Campaign and early Boss Raids, but may fall off in high-tier PvP. They are excellent for filling gaps in your team until you acquire higher-tier options.

Frost Yeti (Ice)

A decent tank with good crowd control. Its "Freeze" ability can lock down a single enemy for two turns, making it useful in tricky PvE encounters.

Thunder Beast (Electric)

A solid damage dealer with good AoE potential. It is a great choice for clearing waves of weaker enemies quickly.

Vine Sprite (Nature)

A reliable healer that provides consistent, small heals over time. It is a good budget option if you do not have Aqua Seraph.

C-Tier & D-Tier: Situational or Weak

These monsters are generally outclassed by higher-tier options. C-Tier monsters might have one specific use case, while D-Tier monsters are best avoided unless you are a collector. Do not invest your rare Evolution Materials into these.

  • C-Tier: Magma Pup, Coral Jelly, Sand Mole. Can be used as placeholder units.
  • D-Tier: Mud Slime, Fluff Ball. Very weak stats and poor abilities. Use them only for Resource Management or early game fodder.

How to Build Your Team
