What Are World Bosses in Evomon?

World bosses are powerful, oversized Evomon that spawn in specific locations on the map at scheduled times. Unlike regular wild encounters, these bosses require coordinated effort to defeat and offer exclusive rewards. Defeating a world boss is one of the fastest ways to earn high-tier gear, rare evolution materials, and unique cosmetic items.

Each world boss belongs to a specific element and has a unique set of abilities. Because of their high health pools and devastating attacks, simply bringing your strongest Evomon is not enough — you need a strategy.

World bosses scale based on the number of players in the area. A solo attempt is possible but extremely difficult without a max-level team and perfect gear.

There are currently five active world bosses in Evomon. Each one spawns in a different biome and follows a fixed rotation schedule. Below is the full list of bosses and their spawn points.

Ignis Rex

Spawns in the Magma Caverns (South-East). Active every 4 hours. Fire-element. Weak to Water and Ground.

Glacial Titan

Spawns in the Frostpeak Summit (North). Active every 3 hours. Ice-element. Weak to Fire and Steel.

Storm Hydra

Spawns in the Thunder Plains (Central-East). Active every 6 hours. Electric-element. Weak to Ground and Rock.

Shadow Wraith

Spawns in the Haunted Hollow (West). Active every 8 hours. Dark-element. Weak to Light and Fairy.

Verdant Colossus

Spawns in the Ancient Grove (South-West). Active every 5 hours. Grass-element. Weak to Fire and Flying.

Best Team Compositions for World Bosses

Building the right team is crucial. A balanced composition includes one tank, one healer, and two damage dealers. The tank should have high defense and taunt abilities, while the healer needs strong group healing and cleanse skills.

For example, against Ignis Rex, a team of two Water-type attackers, one Ground-type tank, and a support Evomon with healing moves works well. Against Shadow Wraith, prioritize Light-type attackers and a Fairy-type support.

Always bring a Evomon with a "Defense Break" or "Armor Shred" skill. World bosses have high defense stats, and reducing their resistance significantly speeds up the fight.
